Ep #075: Calculating Your 3 Year Milestones
We keep moving right along with our Reverse Goal Setting process… tackling step 3 today. Remember, this series will teach you – from start to finish – to set goals like you never have before. Because the way we set them, actually allows us to accomplish them. Let’s dive in.
Here are some highlights:
Step Three in our Reverse Goal Setting process is where we start to work backwards so we can create a plan we can work from. So the next step is to connect our 5 year vision (episode #074) to our 3 year milestones.
Remember, we are going through this process to create the version of the future we are actually willing to work for.
This step is the halfway point where we want to establish some milestones to hit so we know we are on pace to reach our 5 year vision.
You cannot accomplish this step without first creating your five year vision so make sure to go back and catch episode #074 on Defining Your 5 Year Vision.
If you follow along with the episode, this process will be a breeze to determine where you need to be in 3 years to be on pace to make the 5 year vision a reality.
But remember, the easy part is setting our goals. The hard part is making them happen. So this series will walk you through the entire Reverse Goal Setting process so at the end you have goals set for 2020 like you have never set goals before.
And then this series will show you how to put a process in place to accomplish those goals you worked so hard to set!
