FAQs

Yes, you can bring one support person to attend for additional fee of $500 (to cover catering and materials). This team member must be a support person – admin or marketing coordinator. If you wish to bring a colleague – for example two attorneys, two consultants or two financial planners from the same firm – each will need to register and pay separately.

It might be easier to start with what is not included. Your travel to Charlotte, hotel and dinners are not included. What is included is everything you need to build and implement the referral strategies which include the slide deck, scripts, templates, dashboards and workbook. Also included are the event location, breakfast, lunch, snacks and refreshments for the two day workshop. Oh, and we have a few welcome surprises as well!  

You will need to bring your completed pre-work, laptop, charger, 10 to 20 notecards and something to write with. You also need to bring an open mind ready to learn, absorb and do the work.

The strategies I’m going to teach during the Referral Accelerator are designed for those in the professional services or creative industries. You can be B2B or B2C, because really, we’re all H2H (human-to-human). For example – attorneys, CPAs, consultants (fractional, business, etc.), coaches (business and personal), interior designers, financial advisors, realtors, etc. In addition, the work you do should be high touch and not highly transactional meaning you know your clients. A new client should be worth no less than $2,500 in their first year working with you. And most importantly, you want to generate referrals without asking for them, paying for them or being gimmicky or manipulative.

While we do not offer refund or cancellations, you can transfer your attendance to another business owner who is a fit for this event and they can reimburse you or you can shift your attendance to a future Referral Accelerator. You may also use your investment and apply it to joining the Building a Referable (BRB) coaching program.

Nor will I teach you to be gimmicky, promotional or inauthentic. 

I know this is a contrarian view. After all, sales gurus have told us for decades that getting referrals means asking… and more asking… plus giving kickbacks, being cheesy and feeling ridiculous. 

Frankly, it’s obnoxious and terrible advice! 

Why? Because it violates the science of referrals.

That’s why my strategies are rooted in relationships, not persistence or manipulation. It’s been a game-changer for me and for the business owners who’ve worked with me and gone through my programs.
